Application Areas
Orion Rotate can be used inside every kind of contained and silo and for showing
(detection) of level of every kind of powder and coarse grained materials. There are
8 different torque settings and torque levels are adjusted with three switches.
Selection for application area
In construction industry: lime, fine sand, dolomite, calcite, plaster, cement, stone,
coal etc.
In food industry: milk powder, flour, salt, sugar etc.
In plastic industry: plastic particles etc.
Function
When granulated material covers surroundings of probe in rotary palletized assembly
on end part of motor type level switch; material forms a counter force on palette and
thus rotation of palletized assembly becomes prevented. In this situation, its nonrotation
is detected by a sensor and an output signal is generated. Desired torque
setting is made depending on material density.
Application range
Orion-ROT0103 vibration probe is normally placed into container horizontally
(perpendicular to the surface) and thus it ensures to observe level filling and to keep
level recording.
